Making a splash...

It's late and I should be sleeping, but I finally got around to pulling my camera out to take a few shots again. Made me realize how much I had missed it. Going to start making the time for it, since free time seems to be such a hard thing to come by these days.

Anyhow, here are a few photos demonstrating how to make a mess in your basement.

Waiting on Airplanes...

I was out at the local airport to shoot a few shots of a good friend of mine. Had a lot of fun, and may upload a few of those shots as well. Here are a few of another friend behind the scenes, so to speak.

Really quite fond of both of these.

Bang Bang Club...

This post was originally supposed to be a very quick one about how I fenced this afternoon and got both a sunburn and a photo I liked.

However, the title came from a movie that I seen an advertisement for while getting ready to make this post. it is the story of war photographers, which I have considered freelancing as in the past. Very excited to see this film.

Anyhow, I am falling asleep and so here is the photo from today.

I'm not dead...

So, it turns out I am terrible at posting regularly to this blog. In my defense, I have been incredibly busy (kind of), and I have been meaning to do it. Everyone knows it's the thought that counts.

Rather enjoying my new Macbook, and if I can get more interesting things to happen in my life, I'll be more than happy to bang them out on this thing. What a treat to use.

Was finally able to get out and take a few photos and video of the flood waters going on around here. So much water everywhere. Apparently it is looking as though it will be a record flood. Seems to be happening a lot lately. Time to buy a boat?

Spread my wings...

So I finally received my passport in the mail on Monday. Have been meaning to get it for some time, but I am a procrastinator when it comes to such things. Since I don't want all of my flying to be business, I have undertaken the task of picking some place to fly for pleasure. Will update here when I get the list narrowed down and the money saved up.

Suggestions welcome.

Something missing in the kissing...

I was browsing through old blog posts and noticed that I had deleted a lot of photos from Flickr that I had linked to. Looks terrible, so I think I will have to get a pro Flickr account in the next little while; just so I don't have to worry about removing photos to make room for new ones. When I have more time I will remove the ugly "Photo missing" links.
